Violence Against Women Act(VAWA)

Here is a link to an interesting blog post I found about the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA). VAWA made many changes in US law, among which included creating a way for abused spouses of US citizens and permanent residents to obtain a green card independent of their spouse.
